ALISON FRAZER


PRACTICE


Alison is a specialist employment barrister. She developed her interest in employment law whilst studying for her Masters. She then spent some time as a Researcher on the IDS Brief, writing articles and reports on the latest developments in employment law. As a result, Alison has a sound grasp of technical employment matters.  She is a regular freelance contributor to XpertHR.

In the tribunal, Alison has been described as ‘engaging’ and ‘meticulous’. Solicitors value her for her approachability and her ability to support and reassure clients and witnesses during stressful tribunal proceedings.

Clients have included employees, trade unions, local authorities, NHS trusts, SMEs, national companies and charities.  As a result of her experience, she has a sound grasp of the commercial dynamics of a range of organisations.

Alison is an accredited mediator and is on the Bar Council List of Mediators. She has an interest in the use of alternative dispute resolution in the workplace.

She is also an experienced trainer and regularly presents to firms and HR departments on employment law and related subjects. She can design bespoke training packages on a range of topics.
